In the on spot Essay writing contest conducted by the Department of Student Welfare, Jammu University held under the second phase of Display Your Talent, Rajat Gupta from the Law School, Jammu University bagged first prize.
Shreya Jain from GCW Parade and Aruna Bhat from GGN Science College bagged second and third prize respectively. While the certificates of merit were awarded to Anirudh Khajuria from Department of Psychology and Parvinder Kour from Zoolgy Department.
The topics of the todays contest included Mobile Phone Boon or Curse, Role of youth in Nation Building and Ragging in Educational Institutions. The participants included Nonu Khera, Jasmeet Kour, Krishan Kumar, Mangi Lal, Komal Koul, Amit Koul, Shalini Harkar, Rita Srangal, Ridhma Mahajan, Shreya Jain, Shalu Shar Renu, Umesh Sharma, Mamta Yadav and Archana Sharma. |
