Early Times Reporter Katra | Jan 2 Having pioneered the innovative concept of part-time course in M Tech, Energy Management, essentially designed for in-service candidates in the extended campus of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University in Jammu, the first batch of 14 candidates has successfully passed out yesterday. The course is the first of its kind in Jammu and Kashmir and the programme has been conceived by Vice Chancellor, Professor N K Bansal, himself a reputed energy expert of the country. The eligibility for the programme, spreading five semesters, is B Tech or BE in the related subject and the course has become very popular since its launch in 2005. According to a spokesperson of the University, 14 students have successfully completed all the formalities of eligibility for the award of degree of M Tech (Energy Management). This is the first batch of M Tech EM from the State of Jammu and Kashmir. They are Pankaj Pandotra, Ashwani Sharma, Neeru Gupta, Pooja Gandotra, Vivek Kumar, Satvinder Singh, Sudesh Kumar, Kuldip Singh Bhatia, Jatinder Kesar, Ravi Kumar Singh, Ajay Bhagat, Neetan Sharma, Gajanan Vikram and Shakti Singh. |
