| Shiv Sena took out rally | | | EARLY TIMES REPORTER JAMMU | AUGUST 23 A rally was taken out by the activists of Shiv Sena trough main bazaar of walked city to register protest against these persons who have left their old parents at old age home, Ambphalla and are not looking after them. While addressing gathering general secretary Ashok Gupta who was leading the procession said that 82-year-old persons are lodged in the old home, out of which 32 persons have their families on Jammu, but never look after them, which is very strange. He said parents are gift from god and have sacrificed their life for bringing up their children, but on the other hand that left them alone at the fog end of their life. He appealed those persons came forward and take parents back, an give their all love and affection, which they need at this stage. Gupta warned them of the consequences if they ignored their parents. During campaign president Moti bazaar shopkeepers association adopted three old persons, having no families or with 2 kin. Like wise Raj Tilak shopkeeper’s association president Vimal Gupta, and suriner Gupta of Purani- Mandi Bazar adopted 6 old persons each will look after them. According to press release, Shiv Sena is organizing a programme at old age home on August 27, to adopt those persons who have no family support. Among others who took part in the rally were Suresh Kumar, Labha Ram, Sanjeev Kumar, Sham Lal, Lal Singh, Ashok Arora, Kundan Lal and Gurdas Ram
