| Municipal Committee organizes ‘Bhandra’ on New Year eve | | | Early Times Reporter

To felicitate the people on the eve of New Year Chairman Municipal Committee Akhnoor, D N Abrol, in association with Mohan Lal Anand, Luv Kumar and Ranbir Singh organized a ‘bhandra’ here today. A large of people of the area joined the bhandara and exchanged greetings on the New Year eve.
The organizers wished the participants a happy and prosperous New Year and impressed the need for maintaining communal harmony and brotherhood, which had been the hallmark of Jammu and Kashmir state. They said the oneness shown by the people at the difficult times in the past are unique and has no parallel.
Referring to the problems of the people, the organizers said that Municipal Committee is seized of these and would do its best in accomplishing the assigned task and sought cooperation of the people for keeping the town and its suburbs neat and clean. |
