| Scrap ‘VAT’ on CSD items demand ex-serviceman | | | Early Times Reporter

The ex-serviceman of the tehsil have demanded that VAT on items purchased from the CSD canteen he abolished in the state.
Addressing a press meet here today, the councilor Dev Raj Bhagat said, ex-serviceman of the state fail to understand why Vat is imposed not keeping in view the sacrifices made by the army personels fighting against the militancy. He said, Jawans also contribute in development projects ment for civilians.
Bhagat said, it is the duty of the state government to recognize the services of the forces and scrap Vat on CSD items. He appealed to all elected representatives of the people to raise this issue in forth coming session of legislature.
