Army jawans arrested two suspected persons from Indo-Pak border at Kupora area in Basantar Nallah belt of Samba district when they tried to cross the border.
According to reports the alert jawans of Army's Territorial Battalion arrested two persons after they observed some movement near the International Border (IB) in Kupora area in Basantar Nallah belt of Samba district on Wednesday night. The arrested persons were identified as Mithua Ram and Rattan Dass, and one ATM card of bank of Bangladesh was recovered from their possession. Sources said today morning they were handed over to the police for further interrogation. During preliminary interrogation they told police that they were on way to cross the border. |
