Army troops on Saturday averted a tragedy by timely detection of an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in Bandipora district of Jammu and Kashmir.
A road opening party of army detected the IED planted by militants on Sopore-Bandipora road at Manginipora, an official spokesman said.
A bomb disposal squad of army was called in which destroyed the explosive, he said. |
