| CPI for political alternative: Fiazee | | | Early Times Reporter

Giving general appeal to secular and democratic forces of the state to unite against the present corrupt and incompetent coalition government Communist Party of India (CPI) Shameem Fiazee, secretary national council said that CPI is committed to create an alternative with the help of like minded parties to dislodge the present Congress-PDP coalition government.
Fiazee was addressing media persons after attending the regional and state conference of the party in prepration of the 20th party Congress to be held at Hyderabad from March 23 to 27 2008. He said that during this conference they have discussed both national and regional perspective but main thrust was on Kashmir problem. He said that their part is supporting the idea of having a national group comprising of eminent personalities from all over the nation to oversee the ensuing assembly elections in the state. It should ensure free, fair and transparent elections and people should be given confidence to exercise their franchise freely.
Calling the industrialization as live joke Sayed Azeez Pasha, member Rajya Sabha said that the concessions given to industrialist to establish units in the state has helped them to gain bucks. Moreover they even did not establish their units as well and those who establish units did not help to make check on the increasing unemployment. He said that agriculturalist, fruit growers and farmers in the state continued to be exploited and denied due price for their produce. |
