Like every year, the annual festival at the place of Baba Tantra Vaid Ji in Pratap Singh Pura of Bishnah tehsil was celebrated with religious dedications, zeal and fervor, in which thousands of devotees participated to offer their obeisance at the religious place.
According to the reports, every year this festival is organized by the management committee of the religious place in which a large number of devotees from out side the state also visit the shrine of Baba Ji.In this village, all the inhabitants are adept in the cure of snake bite with the grace of Baba Ji.
According to a popular legend prevalent in the village, once upon a time a Baba (saint), was passing through this village, he saw a man ailing from snake bite and immediately sucked out the poison from his body and cured all his sufferings in an instant. Enthralled by the miracle of Baba Ji, all the onlookers became the pupils of the Baba Ji. Since then, the whole village is saving the lives of people from the snakebites with out earning a single penny. For this reason, the people recognize the hamlet with the name of “Life owing place”. On this occasion a Langer was also organized and prasad was distributed among the followers of Baba Ji.
Speaking at this occasion MLA Bishnah, Ashwani Sharma said that the village is a hub of attraction in the area and keeping in view the fidelity of people for this place, he has been putting his sincere efforts in developing the shrine. He also guaranteed all possible help in this concern to the congregation present at the sacred place
