‘Aap Hamare Hain Kaun’ the first play of the year 2008 in weekly Sunday theatre series was staged here today. Written and directed by Balwant Thakur has already been hailed one of the outstanding children’s theatre production produced in the post Independence period. The interesting part of today’s performance was that it featured most of new child actors who demonstrated their ability I such a manner that one can simply say that they are the further starts of the country.
Speaking on the occasion Thakur said that Natrang’s children club has groomed and nutured the best of the artists in last fifteen years and has trained over two thousand children most of them are the lead actors in film and TV channels. He complimented the parents for promoting their wards in theatre and arts which have the magical power of grooming inner talent and personality of a child.
‘Aap Hamare Hain Kaun’ shakes parents, educations/guardians of society out of reverie of materialism, consumerism and unbridled desires. This play compels elders to look around and clear the mess they have created due to their own amorous ambitions.
Young actors who acted in the play included Mohit Sharma, Rohit Sharma, Mohd. Yaseen, Sajaya Qadir, Shabana, Ruhi Singh, Sahitya Sharma, Sahil Anand, Magotra Gupta, Gauri Thakur, Sanchit Singh Wazir, Sarthak Dubey, Gopi Sharma, Anant Akashaj Rohmetra and Amish Plasar, Prachika Kanotra, Akashaj Rohmetra, and Amish Rohmetra. Pankush Verma was on rhythm whereas Gaurav Jamwal executed the lights. This show was managed by Ankush Lakhnotra and Mayank Bakshi.
