DC-XI trounces SSP-XI by 15 runs

Deputy Commissioner Reasi’s team (DC-XI) registered a facile 15 runs victory against SSP-XI in exhibition match of the Shakoor Memorial, 20-20 tournament played at Mini Stadium here yesterday.
Batting first DC-XI made 143 in 20 over for the loss of 8 wickets. Mohammad Arif scored 25 runs of 24 balls followed by Shadab Khan and Rajinder Dingra who scored 22 runs each. Rajesh Gill took three wickets followed by 2 wickets by Nisha.
In reply, SSP-XI was all out for 128 in 20 overs, falling short of odd fifteen runs. Shashi Pal played splendid innings of 39 runs in 27 balls followed by 19 runs by Rajesh Gill and 15 runs by Kishori. Whereas Shabir Magra , Nadeem and Rajinder shared two wickets each.
Jugal Kishore Sharma, Minister for R&B, was chief guest on the occasion.
