| Charak inaugurates UCO bank branch at Shastri Nagar | | | Early Times Reporter

Minister for Higher Education Mr. Gulchain Singh Charak today inaugurated new UCO Bank branch at Shastri Nagar Jammu. The opening of this branch has taken the total number of the bank branches to 13 in J&K State.
The management has also surveyed 12 new sites the state for opening branches with an aim to provide better banking facilities to the people.
While speaking on the occasion, Mr. Charak said that financial institutions play a vital role in the developmental process and boost economic growth. Banks also were instrumental in generating employment avenues for the youth, he added.
He stressed upon the management to provide better customer facilities to the people which was necessary for the growth and stability of banks. He said that bank customers prefer only those branches which are equipped with latest facilities.
Charak assured them that government would provide every possible help to the management for strengthening the growth of the bank in the state so that the people enjoy variety of banking services. |
