JKSSSC demands action against corrupt

The State Samaj Sudhar Committee urged upon the chief minister to take action against the corrupt elements present in the administration from top to bottom. Addressing a press conference here today president of Jammu and Kashmir Samaj Sudhar Sabha Committee (JKSSC) Mohd. Yusuf Wani alleged that recent cabinet expansion is nothing but only an eye wash and the coalition govt. is bent upon to waste public money unnecessarily. He further demanded that the pension given to the old people should be raised from Rs.500 to Rs.1000 as the prices of the essential commodities are shooting up day by day.
While expressing his sympathies with the daily wagers in PDD, he said, these workers had not been paid for the last two years. He urged upon the chief minister, that wages of these poor and hapless persons be released immediately.
Those present in the press conference were, Mohan Choudhary (Chairman Jammu), Sh. Naveen Gupta (Vice Chairman), Narinder Pal Choudhary (State vice president), Bilal Ahmed Mir (Division president Kashmir), Malik (State General Sectt.).
