| Jugal chairs officers meeting | | | Early Times Reporter

Minister for R&B Mr. Jugal Kishore Sharma chaired a meeting of officers of department of commercial tax and R&B. The meeting discussed matters pertaining to the payment of sales tax by the contractors and agencies bringing construction machines and equipment from outside the state.
The meeting was informed that all those contractors who bring the machines within the states and other parts of the country have to pay the tax on the equipment as such it has to be ensure they pay the tax dues positively.
It was given out that all such contractors shall register their firms with commercial tax department before taking the allotted works in hand for execution.
The meeting was attended by Secretary R&B Mr. Shailender Kumar, Commissioner Sales Tax Kh. Bashir Ahmad, Chief Engineer PMGSY Mr. Mohammad Shafi Mir and other senior officers. |
