| Inter-college volleyball meet from Jan 14 | | | Early Times Reporter

The four events of the annual inter-college competitions, postponed for various reasons by the Department of Physical Education, University of Jammu, here have been rescheduled.
As per the revised fixture, spread over a week, the four events rescheduled are in the discipline of football, kabaddi, volleyball and lawn tennis beginning from January 14 on the campus.
“Except for the Cross Country, the Department in consultation with the affiliated colleges has rescheduled the four inter-college events which were earlier postponed for various reasons,” Assistant Director Physical Education, University of Jammu, Dr Sonam Angchuk told Sports & Allied News.
As per the revised fixture, the men’s volleyball competitions shall start from January 14 on the campus at 10.30 am. As many as five matches have been scheduled for the opening day.
On the same day i.e. January 14, the inter-college lawn tennis competitions shall start on the campus courts at same time. In all, four colleges are taking part in this event.
Other two events of men’s football and kabaddi are scheduled to start simultaneously on January 19 on the campus. |
