Jammu and Kashmir Bank has upgraded its extension counter at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University campus as a full fledged branch to facilitate the students, faculty and staff besides the varsity itself.
Vice Chancellor, Prof. N. K. Bansal, Vice Chancellor, SMVD University today inaugurated the full fledged branch of the bank and congratulated the management for the endeavour/
The Vice Chancellor appreciated the bank's recent strides in financial sector and the pivotal role it is playing in providing banking needs to the society. He quoted the bank's scrip crossing Rs 1000 bar and huge foreign investment by international investors and also lauded Bank's role in providing social banking to rural masses of the state.
Professor Bansal hoped that the newly upgraded branch will provide all banking facilities as per needs of one and all under one roof so that local population of the adjoining areas will also get benefited.
On the occasion of up gradation of Extension Counter into a full fledged branch at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University at Kakryal, Katra, Vice-President J&K Bank Mr G. M. Sahibzada welcomed the Vice-Chancellor and other distinguished guests and assured that all world class banking facilities will be provided under one roof in the University Campus with thrust on quality service and basket of financial services including Insurance, mutual funds, depository services, foreign exchange, ATM.
Mr Sahibzada thanked VC for assuring to provide permanent premises for the branch and assured that new premises will be equipped with latest banking technology. He also assured to provide banking services as and when required with in the premises of new mega project of Cancer Hospital being developed in the vicinity of SMVD University. |
