| Tarigami seeks redressal of contractual engineers’ problems | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Jan 9 State Secretary CPI (M) and MLA Mr. M. Y. Tarigami today raised the issue of the regularization of services of contractual engineers in Legislative Assembly during zero hour and stressed a comprehensive policy for providing jobs to the un-employed educated youth. He said that the number of trained graduates in the field of engineering, agriculture and other disciplines was increased day by day and a policy to address this problem was need of the hour. He said government should come up with a firm and perspective planning in this direction. Tarigami also raised the issue of implementation of House Committee report on Horticulture Development in the state through a question during the Question Hour. He said the House Committee constituted in 2002 had submitted a comprehensive report giving various recommendations for the development of horticulture in the state but the recommendations have not been implemented so far. He stressed on implementation of the report to strengthen the horticulture sector. Mohammad Dilawar Mir Minister for Horticulture while giving replying to the question said that most of the recommendation of the department have been implemented adding that preliminary action report taken by the committee will be placed on the table. |
