DDC asks Banks to improve CD Ratio

Reviewing the performance of the banks at the district level review committee, the District Development Commissioner Ramban, A.D. Shanas remarked that
Banks has done good job during the period under view. He also appreciated the role of Banks, particularly State Bank of India (SBI) and the J&K Bank for achieving 51 per cent and 55 per cent annual plan respectively.
Deputy Commissioner directed all the Banks to improve their CD Ratio as the present ratio was just 23 only.
Rohit K Mehta, Lead Bank Manager assured, the Deputy Commissioner, on
behalf of the Banks, that CD Ratio as well as back log of credit plan would be achieved. Present on the occasion were R.K. Chibber BDSM, G.S. Wazir, Sr. Executive J&K Bank Ramban, CPO Ramban along with all the bankers and district officials.
The PLP for next year by NABARD was also approved by the house in Toto.
