| Peerzada pays obeisance at Peer Baba | | | Early Times Reporter

The minister for Hajj and Auqaf, Peerzada Mohammad Syed visited Ziarat Sharief of Peer Baba Roshan Shah Wali at Gumat and offered prayers for the peace and prosperity of J&K state. He on the occasion presented a cheque of RS.one lakh in favour of the Masjid committee on behalf of Aqualf Islamia Jammu for the purpose of construction and beautification of the Masjid Sharief. He also said that Aquaf Islamia will take up the beautification work of three Ziarats namely Peer Baba Panjpeer, at Manda, Peer Baba Roshan Shah Wali at Gumat, Peer Baba Kanju Sahib, Kunjwani, the beautification of these Ziarat will require an expenditure of Rs.70 lakh, the sanction for which has already been granted by the state Wakaf Council in its meeting held on August 27, 2007. Abdul Sattar administration, Aquaf Islamia accompanied the minister during visit to Ziarat. |
