| “Ati Vishnu Mahayagya” to be held at Kargil | | | EARLY TIMES REPORTER

Ati Vishnu Mahayagya Samiti will organize 9-day Sarva Dharma Pooja at Drass in Leh district of the state in honour of Kargil Martyrs, who sacrificed their lives for the nation. These great martyrs, about 429 in numbers, belonged to different parts of the court and were posted in the State when the neighboring county forced entry of its Army men in Kargil and Drass Sectors to occupy the Indian Territory. These Martyrs gave a befitting reply to the evil designs of the enemy and sacrificed themselves while defending their Motherland.
During the proposed Sarva Dharma Pooja, religious teachers belonging to different parts of the county and different religions will gather at Drass and perform Pooja from 18 to 26th July, 2006.
Sant Bal Yogeshwar Dass Ji Maharaj, will himself perform Pooja at Tiger and Tololing Hills.Sant Bal Yogeshwar Dass Ji Maharaj has extended invitation to US President George W. Bush, Indian President Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, Pakistan President General Pervez Musharraf, Prime Minister of India Dr. Manmohan Singh and other famous personalities of India to participate in the Sarva Dharma Pooja.
Families of all Kargil Martyrs too have been invited. Their boarding the lodging expenses will be borne by the Ati Vishnu Mahayagya Samiti. These families/members of the families will be honored on 26th July at Drass.
