Police had recovered dead body of Jagjeet Singh Sodhi, a godown manager of FCI and a resident of Kanispora Varmul from near the banks of river Jhelum near Jetty Friday last. Suspecting some foul play, family members of Sodhi said on Thursday, Jagjeet was an upright and honest person and had no enemies so why should anyone kill him. We suspect some foul play behind his mysterious death and demand a thorough probe. Dawinder Kour, wife of Jagjeet Singh said Jagjeet may be regarded as roadblock by corrupt people in the office and they might have colluded to eliminate him. She said Jagjeet might have been poisoned to death and the police investigators must probe in detail. |
