| Ensure timely completion for works: Jugal to engineers | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Jan 11 Minister for Roads and Buildings Jugal Kishore Sharma has called for maintaining quality of work and ensuring early completion of under execution projects across the state. Interacting with the engineers and management of JKPCC the Minister said "JKPCC is being assigned ambitious projects for execution to give ample chance to the corporation to prove its mettle". This also encourages healthy completion between various agencies in the field of construction' he added. Among others Secretary R&B Shalindra Kumar, MD JKPCC Daleep Thasoo, GM JKPCC Kashmir Abdul Ahad Najar, GM JKPCC Jammu D. L. Sharma and other senior officers of the JKPCC were present on the occasion. The Minister was told 426 works are under execution at an estimated cost of Rs 1654 crore, of which, 264 are in Kashmir division and 162 in Jammu division adding that Rs. 800 crore have been utilized on these till date. Appreciating the role of JKPCC Jugal expressed the hope that engineers would work with zest to complete the under execution projects in the allotted time frame and asked the engineers to ensure that quality of work was maintained at every level. |
