| Inter-college lawn tennis meets begin today | | | Early Times Reporter

Organised by the Department of Physical Education, University of Jammu, the annual inter-college (men) volleyball and lawn tennis competitions, shall start simultaneously tomorrow on the campus.
In the three-day lawn tennis competitions, eight teams have confirmed their entries including the title holder, PG Departments and runners-up Government MAM College.
“On the opening day tomorrow, MAM College shall take of Degree College Udhampur while Degree College Akhnoor shall meet Government SPMR College of Commerce at 10.30 am, Assistant Director Physical Education, Dr Sonam Angchuk told Sports & Allied News.
Whereas in volleyball there are 22 participants, including defending champion, Degree College Kathua and second position holder, Degree College Udhampur. Five matches have been scheduled for tomorrow in this six-day long event.
While the volleyball competions are being conducted under the overall supervision of volleyball coach, Ramesh Sharma, the lawn tennis event shall take place under the guidance of Ramesh Magotra, table tennis coach of the University of Jammu. |
