| Road connectivity a publicity stunt: Kitchloo | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Jan 12 The claims of the Congress led coalition government of good road connectivity in the remote areas of the state seems to be a publicity stunt to befool the masses, National Conference leader and MLA Kishtwar Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo, today said that despite having sanctioned the work on Dachan –Marwah and Gulabgrah Machil road, the work is yet to be taken, which speaks the volumes of work culture and good governance. In a press statement issued here today, Kitchloo said claims of coalition government on building massive development infrastructure are limited on papers as nothing is visible on ground. Criticizing the Congress led coalition government for its failure to improve the road connectivity of rural areas, NC leader said that the government has failed to take up work on much hyped Dachan- Marwah and Gulabgrah- Machil roads, which are the vital links connecting various areas and a populace of more than 60,000. "I suggest the coalition government to shun the publicity stunt and be practical on the ground" Sajad said adding people can't be befooled any more as government's claims of work culture, transparency and good governance are no more digested by the masses of the state. |
