| Babu distributes appointment orders, cheques | | | Early Times Reporter

During his maiden visit after taking over as Minister of State for Power, Babu Singh today presented appointment orders as Helpers to six women besides distributing six cheques under Indira Awas Yojana to the beneficiaries
During the visit various people called on the Minister and projected their demands which included posting of adequate teaching staff at Middle school Panjoari and construction of road from Airwan to Barmori and Janglote to Bhed. The people of Jakhbar and Khokhayal demanded relief for the poor people for construction of their houses under Indira Awas Yojana.
The people of Muthi Jagir, Bhagthali and other areas demanded replacement of defunct electric transformers and electric polls.
Babu Singh listened to the problems of the people and assured them of early redresses.
The Minister distributed 16 cheques, including 10 cheques amounting to Rs. 12500 each and 6 cheques amounting to Rs. 10,000 each to the beneficiaries of Kathua block under IAY.
Among others, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kathua, Laj Ram, Assistant Commissioner Development, Shayam Bijyal , Executive Engineer, Irrigation, AEE, R&B Bharat Bhushan Sharma, BDO, Barnoti and Municipal Councilors were also present on the occasion. |
