Nami Dogri Sanstha Aghar Jitto branch organized a Bhajan Sandhya at Bawa Jitto temple here today.
S.S.Anand ‘Lehar’, Senior Advocate, Supreme Court of India & Urdu Short story Writer of the sub-continent Chief Guest, on the occasion whereas the function was presided over by Krishan Singh, Sarpanch ‘Aghar Jitto’. Param pujya Guru Pt. Jagdish Ji Shastri Ji Maharaj, Prof. Shiv Nirmohi and eminent Dogri and Hindi writer and Gopal Padha, President, Hasya,vyangya Manch, Katra, J&K were the guest of honour. Prominent among locals who participated include Romesh Kumar, Chairman, Panchyat Aghar Jitto, Krishan Lal, Panch, Aghar Jitto, O.P. Sahrma, Ravi Kohli, Secretary NDS-TAF, Gopal Krishan Komal Vice-president NDS, Mohan Lal Kohli, Ishwar Dass, Bishan Dass Agharia, President NDS-TAF, Aghar Jitto, P.D. Sharma, Head Master Harish Dubey, Dr. Surinder Singh, Qabla Singh, Lambardar Mangat Ram, Sunil Kohli, Ravi Raina, Sunil Raina, Raju Verma, Vishal Raina & Rattan Lal Sharma from Katra. Prominent persons from Jammu who attended the function include Romesh Rahi, Dr. Ashutosh Magotra, Shukla Sharma, V.B. Lalit Sharma IFS.Singers who presented Bhajans include Suraj Singh, Rakesh Singh Slathia, Surinder Singh Manhas, Manju Bala, Chanchal Sharma, Dharmesh Nargotra, Satpal Sharma and Sushil Sharma from Kathua. The junior singers who performed and got maximum applause included Nidhi Kaila, Mukteshi Sharma, Juhi Singh, Parul Mangotra and Ritwick Rohan Kaila, Khem Raj Mithoo and Sardar Kulwant Singh were on Tabla, Subash Chander on Dholak and Dr. Ashutosh Magotra on Harmonium.Yash Pal Yash, General Secretary, NDS compered the programme in an impressive manner. The programme of conceived and designed by famous Dogri Writer Gopal Krishan Komal famous Dogri writer of the J&K State. Large number of locals participated in the Bhajan Sandhya programme, which lasted for about two and half hours. The artistes enthralled the audience and their scintillating performance was lauded by all.Earlier, Mohan Lal Ji, head priest and main disciple of Baba Jitto Shrine Aghar Jitto was felicitated on behalf of NDS-TAF Jammu. He was presented a saropa by the chief guest.
