| Workshop on Science communication held | | | Early Times Reporter

Students Welfare Society, Anatnag organized a week long training workshop on science communication through puppetry which is being catalyzed and supported by NCSTC (Deptt. Of Science and Technology) Govt. of India for teachers, students, science communicators, artists at Govt. PG College of Education.
Dr. Rafeeq Masoodi, Secretary J&K Cultural Academy inaugurated the workshop by lightening the traditional lamp. Secreatry Student Welfare Society , Shabir Ahmad in his welcome address said that puppets have both educative and entertainment value.
Dr. AK Srivastiva, Dean SKUAST was the guest of honor on the occasion. He in his speech said that such kind of activity will really boost the talent of the students and will develop scientific tempera among them.
Principal of the college, ML Parvana appreciated the organizers as well as the sponsoring agencies and said that after getting training the participants will demonstrate activities in various places by which they can communicate different messages of science. |
