| Lohri celebrated | | | Early Times Reporter

The students and staff of ‘Arya Kanya Vidyaliya’, Purani Mandi celebrated the festival of ‘Lohri’ with full zeal and enthusiasm in the school premises here today. On the occasion BJP state secretary Yudhvir Sethi was Chief Guest.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal of the school, Madan Abrol highlight the importance of the ‘Lohri’ festival. He said during present times festivals are losing them glory and the youth get attached to western culture. He said festivals celebrated in India have both religious and historical importance. Later on bonfire was also lit off by the staff of the school and childrens.
Among others who participated in the function were, Krishan Lal Gupta, Pawan Pandon, and Anil Masoom. |
