| Kaith community facilitates Shivani | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Jan 14 Shivani Kaith winner of gold medal in national climbing championship held in November 2007 was honoured by the J&K Kaith community at a function organized at Langotian, R.S Pura today. Highlighting the achievements of climber Shivani Lt. Col. (Retd.) Manohar Lal Kaith said that in this world there are two types of people. One who believe in destiny alone and do not exert to do anything, and the other type of people are those who believe that one cannot succeed if one does not try to achieve one’s goal by putting sincere efforts and Shivani Kaith of the later type of people, said Kaith. Addressing the gathering, Dr. Ramesh Kaith said that the value of time for the students very great. It is the period of acquiring knowledge during studentship, they should make the best use of time and study hard to achieve success. Kaith said that an ideal students is one who is fully conscious of his responsibilities. He should be bold and fearless, full of discipline and high character. He said an ideal student is also an ideal member of the society. He has a duty towards his county. He is the lighthouse for guidance of the younger generation. Others who addressed the gathering included Ram Dass, Madan Raj, Des Raj, Rattan Lal, Bishan Lal, Beli Ram, Ravi Dass and Naresh Kumar, Swarn Lal, Garu Ram, Subedar Sudershan Lal, Capt. Girdhari Lal, Karam Chand, Shiv Ram, Bawa Ram, Verinder Kaith, Munshi Ram and Ashok Kumar. |
