Government Gandhi Memorial Science College today registered a straight sets victory over Government MAM College on the opening day of the inter-college volleyball tournament, organized by the Department of Physical Education, University of Jammu, here today.
Bipan Singh masterminds the Science College victory hitting power packed smashes throughout the game thereby earning maximum points for his team. The score: 25-21, 25-22, 25-21.
In other scheduled matches for today, Degree College Bhaderwah and Degree College Rajouri got walkovers to make it into the next round.
While Degree College Bhaderwah got walkover Degree College Reasi, Rajouri College was awarded walkover ASCOMS.
The only match played today was officiated by Shashi Sharma, Neeraj Sharma and Mulkh Raj (scorer). The inter-college competitions are being held under the overall supervision of Romesh Sharma. |
