Walkovers marked the opening day of the annual inter-college lawn tennis competitions organized by the Department of Physical Education, University of Jammu, here today.
In the first scheduled match, Government MAM got walkover Degree College Udhampur, while both the teams of Degree College Akhnoor and Government SPMR College of Commerce, scheduled to play the second match, failed to turn up.
Since, only eight teams are taking part in this event, the MAM College has straightway reached the final from upper group of four teams. |
