| Four assailants, including main accused, apprehended | | Dy. AG attack case | | Early Times Reporter

Police today claimed to have arrested four accused involved in the murderous assault on Ajit Singh Dogra, Deputy Advocate General, on January 10 last at Akalpur road falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Domana.
A police spokesman said that acting swiftly Domana Police arrested all the four accused from two separate places today. The main accused identified Vishal @ Vishu and Raj Kumar @ Raju were arrested from Mukerian Punjab.
On their disclosure, a police party led by SHO Domana rushed to the spot where the other accused were hiding. One of the accused Ashok Kumar attempted to escape from the spot and opened fire from his country made pistol but was empowered by the police while his other accomplice Max was apprehended from the hideout at Jagti area of Nagrota with out any resistance. Ashok Kumar who sustained injuries was shifted to GMC Hospital here and a case u/s 307 RPC, 3/25 Arms Act has been registered against him. |
