The Army Postal Service displayed Special stamps and First Day covers issued on Defence theme during two days “Know your Army” exhibition at Jammu. The school children have shown great interest in sending their message to Indian Jawans on colourful Meghdoot Post cards. Hundreds of such messages were posted at the Field Post Officer addressed to Indian Jawan Bharat Ki Shan C/o 56 APO. His Excellency, the Governor of J&K Lt Gen SK Sinha, PVSM (Retd) during his visit to the exhibition had sent his message to the soldiers from the Field Post Office.
“The Honour, safety and security of the Country is in your hands. I am proud to record that you have displayed your might and won public confidence. Keep up the good work!” |
