New Delhi, Aug 24: Whose sneeze can destabilise the UPA Government? -- Prakash Karat, Jyoti Basu, M Karunanidhi or Lalu Prasad? This is not a joke, but a question to be answered by those appearing in examination for Grade-II Officer posts in the Animal Husbandry Department in Gujarat.
The matter was raised by V Narayanasamy (Cong) in the Rajya Sabha today during Zero Hour.
He said after going through the questions one would really feel that it is nothing but communalisation of the whole subject.
The Congress member said one question was "Which day is observed as a Black Day by minorities and as Victory Day by the Sangh Parivar?" "Such kinds of shameful questions have been asked in an examination for selection of officers by the Public Service Commission of the Gujarat Government," he said.
Narayanasamy felt it amounted to destabilising the secular fabric of the country and "trivialising" the entire examination process. |
