| BJP workers hold protest, demand sacking of Govt | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Jan 15 A massive protest demonstration was held at busy Kachi Chowni by the workers of Bhartiya Janta party (BJP) here today. District president of the party, Kavinder Gupta who led the demonstration burnt the effigy of congress led coalition government. Gupta, while addressing the demonstrators, said that the state government, under Ghulam Nabi Azad, has miserably failed to check the corruption and book all those involved in this meance. He said what to talk of a common man when ministers do not spare the elected representatives in demanding money. He said serious allegations have been leveled from time to time against most of the ministers for their indulgence in corrupt practices but the government is not serious to take any action against them. He said that coalition has lost its moral right to remain in power as its ministers and MLAs have been found involved in a number of scandals and demanded immediate sacking of hits government and imposition of governor’s rule, Shamsher Singh Manhas, Yudhvir Seti, Sat Sharma, Balbir Ram, Rajesh Gupta, Vinod Gupta, Baldev Singh, Krishan Lal, Subhash Jandial, Sanjay Mahajan, Karan Singh, Subhash Sharma, Arun Khanna, Sat Pal Grover, Balwan Singh, Dinesh Guptaand Raj Rani Jamwal were prominent among those who took part in the protest demonstration. |
