| PTU to hold traffic awareness campaign on Jan 18 | | | Early Times Reporter

Punjab Technical university (PTU) in addition to its technical education imparted through various courses in organizing a ‘Mega Traffic Awareness’, campaign in the states of Jammu Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Orissa and Andhra Pradesh.
As per a pres release, PTU beside imparting technical education, has felt it is a moral and social responsibility to educate the student about various traffic rules which will help students to emerge as responsible and civilized citizen’s of the country. The initiative taken by the PTU has been widely appreciated by various state dignitaries which include chief minister, Himachal Pradesh, Prof. Prem Kumar, Dhumal, Transport minister of J&K and Punjab, Hakim Mohammad Yaseen and Master Mohan Lal respectively.
Prof. Dhumal in his massage has said, that all principal of school and colleges of Himachal Pradesh also follow the path shown by PTU among their taught.
Hakim Yassin of J&K said, that the road safety and civic sense need to be integrated with the education system, and wished good luck to organizes. According to regional head of PTU, M. Dewan Campaign will involve over 1500 school and college of there states comparising of 50000 students. |
