| JMC to take action against adulteration: Mahey | | | Early Times Reporter

A deputation of prominent citizens of the city who called on chairman, public health and sanitation committee, Sanjay Mahey of Jammu municipal corporation (JMC) and urged upon him to take action against the traders who adulterate edible oil and spices sold freely in markets.
Mahey gave a patient hearing to their complaints and assured them for taking necessary steps in this regard. He said that the matter has already been taken up with the director C.A.P.D, department to tighten its noose over such units, which manufacture these articles outside municipal limits.
He asked them to bring all such matters with respect to adulteration into the knowledge of the municipal authorities who shall always be ready to help them in all possible ways. |
