| Grenade attack on residence of Chairman MC Bandipora | | | Early Times Reporter

Unidentified militants hurled a grenade upon the residence of Mushtaq Ahmad Sofi, Chairman Municipal Committee Bandipora, Baramulla while a grenade was recovered from a vehicle at Kanshipora in North Kashmir.
Police sources told Kashmir Media Trust that unidentified militants triggered a grenade at the residential house of Chairman Municipal Corporation, Bandipora, otherday that however, missed its target and exploded outside the house.
No loss of life or injury to anyone was reported in the incident. Police has registered a case in this regard and has launched a manhunt to nab the culprits.
Meanwhile 129 Bn. CRPF during vehicle checking at Kanispora Baramulla recovered one Hand grenade from a TATA 407 bearing registration No. JK05/5587. Police has registered a case in this regard. |
