| Several deputations call on CM | | | SRINAGAR, AUGUST 24 –Several deputations called on Chief Minister Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad here today and presented their demands for redressal. The deputation from block Baramulla led by Mr. John Mohammad Kokaru to put forth their demands which includes improvement of power supply, upgradation of drinking water supply, modernization of district hospital Baramulla, upgradation and renovation of inner roads of the block, reopening of match factory, construction of by-pass in Baramulla town, setting up of allopathic dispensary at downtown Baramulla and construction of public park at Darhahi Alai Mohalla Khawaja Sahib. The deputation of Buloward Hotel Federation led by its President Mr. Zahoor Ahmad also met with the Chief Minister and put fourth their demands which also include widening of Dalgate-Nehru park road. The deputationists hailed the steps taken by Mr. Azad for making Jammu and Kashmir State a model state and appreciated the initiatives taken by him for the eradication of corruption from the society besides providing good governance and transparent administration to the people of the state. The deputationists assured wholehearted support from the people of their respective areas for making Jammu and Kashmir a prosperous state on all fronts envisioned by Chief Minister. The Chief Minister gave a patient hearing to the deputationists and assured them that their genuine demands would be looked into. |
