| Coast Guard Painting competition | | | Early Times Reporter

On the wake of 31st Anniversary Celebration of Indian Coast Guard a painting competition was organised today at Coast Guard headquarters, to commemorate the occasion. Children across 30 schools in Delhi participated in this competition, which was held in two categories. The school children who participated in this competition with great enthusiasm exhibited their skills and expressed concern over national security by painting their views which indicated high levels of awareness about the growing threat to the nation.
In the middle school category students from Raisina Bengali School sweeped the Awards as they occupied all the four positions. First Prize went to Sushmita Chatterjee and Second, Third and Fourth Prize went to Ankita Malakar, Kaushik Barua and Subhodeep Sarkar, respectively. In the High School category Mohini Bhowmik of Raisina Bengali School secured the First Prize and the Second Prize went to Pramod Kumar of NP Boys Sr Secondary School. Mrs Sandhya Prasad Wife of Vice Admiral Y Prasad, Ex Vice Chief of Naval Staff (Retd) graced the function and distributed prizes to the winners. |
