| Mangat directs for early completion of the project | | Iinspects work on Stationery, Govt. Press Complexes at Sampora | | SRINAGAR, AUGUST 24 – Minister for Transport, ARI, Stationery and Printing, Mr. Mangat Ram Sharma today inspected on-going construction work on Stationery and Office Supplies Complexes and Govt. Press Srinagar at Sampora, here today. The Minister accompanied by Director Stationery and Printing, Mr. Abdul Majeed and other senior officers of the department informed him that an amount of Rs. 80.50 lakh is being spent on the construction of Stationery complex through JKPCC. Mr. Majeed said that funds for the construction work of the complex have already been provided to the construction agency. He said that the total built on area of the complex is 8500 sft. with the entire ground floor, specially designed to store the goods safely. He instructed the executing agency to complete the building by September 15, 2006 so that office and the stores of stationery and office supplies department are shifted to the new premises without further delay. The Minister expressed satisfaction over the pace of work on the complex. Later Minister inspected newly constructed Govt. Press Complex, comprising of Store Block and Factory. He was informed that the complex would be handed over to the Govt. Press authorities shortly. |
