In order to check the manufacture of illicit liquor, excise raids were carried out under the supervision of SSP Border Jammu Rajinder Gupta here today. During the raids illicit liquor etc. Seized three persons booked under various acts.
Excisse raid was conducted in R.S.Pura town in which two persons namely Dil Bhadur S/o Gir Bahadur R/oChowala Morh and Hareen S/o Shiv Narayan R/o W.No.9 R.S.Pura were found booked under 50-A Excise Act found drinking in open place. Beside, three Motor Cycles were seized under 207 Motor Vehicle Act, driving without documents.
During night patrolling in Arnia a vehicle was seized under 3/181, 146/196Motor Vehicle Acts without driving licence and registration certificate.
At Samba was during patrolling one Parveen Kapoor S/o Dev Raj Kapoor R/o W.No.7 Samba was booked under 36 Police act from link road Samba as he was creating nuisance in a drunked condition.
During checking in Ramgarh town two Matadors and one Auto was booked under 66/192 Motor Vehicle Act found without insurance certificate.
