Early Times Reporter Jammu | Jan 19 District Reasi Indian Style Wrestling Association organized a day-long district championship at Government High School Kotli Bhaga, 15 kilometer from Reasi. Headmaster Laiter school, Rattan Lal Sharma was chief guest in the day-long wrestling championship, who along with Shiv Kumar Sharma, president Indian Style Wrestling Association of J&K distributed medals among the winners of different age groups. Later, speaking to Sports & Allied News, Shiv Sharma said that the Indian Style Wrestling Association wants to take the game to remotest areas of the state. “By holding district championship at Kotli, we have taken a step towards taking the game to the rural areas. In fact, Kotli is full of talented wresters and the association wants them to excel,” said Shiv Sharma. Organised under the banner of J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association and sponsored by the J&K State Sports Council, the organizers were extended a helping hand by management of the host school and Amar Memorial Trust Katra.
