| Slathia seeks probe into substandard works in Vijaypur | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Jan 20 Strongly criticizing the coalition government of its failure in providing employment to the educated youth of the state, senior National Conference leader and former Minister SS Slathia has sought judicial inquiry into the sub standard works being done by the local MLA in Vijaypur constituency. Addressing public meeting at village Kamloo Brahaman in Ramgarh today, Slathia regretted that while the government has failed to provide employment to the educated youth in the state, it was planning to utilize the services of the retired Tehsildars. ‘The tall promises made by the alliance partners during 2002 Assembly elections have remained unfulfilled’, he alleged and said it the (govt) has miserably failed on all fronts as no development works have been taken up during its tenure. He said people who are fed up with the misrule of the coalition are rejoining the National Conference which is a clear proof that the people are fully endorsing the policies and programs of the National Conference. On this occasion several workers of PDP and BJP are reported to have joined the National Conference. Tirth Ram Block President, Om Parkash Attri, Madan Lal Sharma. Shiv Kumar Sharma and Tilak Raj also addressed the gathering. |
