Police was attacked once again in Srinagar after fresh incidents of stone-pelting were reported from the downtown area.
On Sunday, sectarian clashes led to pitched battles between the protesters and police throughout the day in which many people were injured.
Clashes broke out between members of the Shia and Sunni communities on Saturday after a Shia procession was taken out in Gojwara, which is a predominantly Sunni area. |
