| Kathua College to meet PG in kabaddi final | | | Early Times Reporter

Degree College Kathua and the defending champion, Post Graduate Departments of University of Jammu today qualified for the title clash in the ongoing inter-college kabaddi tournament on the campus here.
Now, both the teams shall lock horns for the title clash tomorrow at 1 pm at the same venue. Earlier, in the semi-finals played today, PG Departments outplayed Degree College Akhnoor 33-16. Gulzar played a key role in PG’s outstanding victory and earned maximum points during raids.
In the second semi-final, Degree College Kathua defeated Degree College Reasi making it a one-side contest 44-13. Saif Ali and Mukhtiar Ali remained in limelight for their superb play for the winners Kathua College. For Reasi, Parshotam fought well but could not do much for lack of support from other team members.
Today’s matches were officiated by Ajay Gupta, Anil Sharma and Gagan Kumar. The tournament is being organized by he Department of Physical Education, University of Jammu. |
