Aijaz Khan studies developmental of Gool-Arnas

Minister of State for Finance, Planning and Revenue Mr. Aijaz Ahmad Khan has said an amount of Rs 1.68 crore has been released for construction of Sangaldhan-Tata Pani road under NABARD, 15 metres span foot bridge over Ind Nallah at Nikabass and Allopathetic Dispensary at Sangaldhan. He also said that Rs.19 lakh have been allotted for construction of additional accommodation at Sub-district Hospital, Gool.
This was disclosed in a review meeting convened with the Senior Officers and Engineers of the Roads and Buildings department to review overall development of Gool Arnas constituency here today.
Threadbare discussions were held with regards to various developmental activities under execution in the constituency.
The meeting informed that under R & B sector, 4 roads are under execution in the constituency and Rs.1.62 crore have been incurred on these projects out of an estimated cost of Rs.5.69 crore. These projects included Dulwa-Budhal, gool-Dheeda, gool-Byepass and Ziariat road. The meeting also informed that Gool-Dharam and Sangaldhan-Kethan road under NABARD have been completed.
The meeting told that Rs.7.28 lakh has been incurred out of an estimated cost of Rs.30.58 lakh on construction of foot bridges at Bajkundi Nallah at Bhimdassa and Godri Kalimaste over Kethan Nallah. The construction work on Examination Hall at Gool and Inspection Hut at Dharam is in full swing. Rs.24 lakh has been released for construction of buildings of Sub-health Centres at Dheeda, Kalimaste and Chachwa, the meeting informed. The meeting also dwelt upon expediting construction works of ITI building at Gool and Darmatory/ Sarai building at Tata Pani.
Addressing the meeting, the Minister asked the concerned officers and engineers to complete all ongoing works in a time bound manner so that the benefits of these developmental works reach to the people of these far flung areas.
Aijaz Khan said that the coalition government led by Chief Minister Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad has made all out efforts for over all development of the state especially the far-flung areas.
Executive Engineer, R & B Division, Ramban Mr. Opender Kar and other senior officers attended the meeting.
