These days Kolkatta is witnessing a seven-day festival of Kashmir Art, craft and cuisine. Organized by J&K Government's Tourism Department, Handloom Development Corporation, Arts Emporium and JKTDC, the festival is drawing good crowds.
The main attractions of the festival are a bouquet of ethnic Kashmir cuisine, prepared by the chefs of JKTDC specially flown for the purpose, alongwith the craft and culture of the state.
The festival was inaugurated by Director, Eastern zone Cultural Centre, Mrs. Anuradha Mukherji on January 20. On the occasion a ten minute documentary film Kahmiriyat was also screened. |
