| Two Hizhul Mujahideen militants arrested | | | Early Times Reporter

Jammu and Kashmir police on Thursday unearthed a module of Hizbul Mujahideen
by arresting two militants who were planning to disrupt Republic Day celebrations in Anantnag district.
Without identifying the arrested militants, a police spokesman said the duo had earlier also been arrested for their involvement in militancy.
The released militants, who were now working as shopkeepers, were acting as sleeper cells of Hizbul Mujahideen.
The spokesman said the arrested militants along with their associates were planning a major strike in Anantnag town to disrupt the Republic Day celebrations.
Eight kg of RDX and two remote controlled devices were recovered from them. |
