| Hockey tourney postponed again | | | Early Times Reporter

Jammu and Kashmir Hockey Association (JKHA), citing security reasons on the eve of Republic Day, has once against postponed the Ashwani Kapoor memorial hockey tournament for a later date.
Scheduled to start today, the tournament shall now begin on January 28 at K K Hakhu Stadium. “The players were finding it difficult to come to the venue in the wake of security check-up at different points, so the organising committee has decided to hold the event after Republic Day,” resident secretary of JKHA Jammu wing, P D Singh told ET.
He said that the first match shall be played between Diamond Club and Singh Club in the afternoon. Earlier, the tournament was to start on January 21. |
